Brian Jacobson, CPA, is a Partner with Haynie & Company since 2014. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from North Dakota State University in 2003 and has been in public accounting since. Brian is on the board of directors for the Thompson Education Foundation and a member of the Loveland Sertoma Club and Loveland Strategic Partnership. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
Brian’s area of expertise includes tax planning, consulting and compliance for corporate, partnership and individual clients. He consults on tax issues including mergers & acquisitions, start-up companies, succession and retirement planning, stock options, real estate, oil & gas, state & local tax incentives, multi-state tax, international tax, nonprofits, trusts and estates. He works with clients in a variety of industries including real estate, manufacturing, professional services, healthcare, agriculture, oil & gas and nonprofit organizations.
Brian and his wife, Nan, have two sons. In his spare time he values spending time with his family and enjoys hiking, softball, basketball, traveling and coaching his sons youth sports teams.
