Gary Hansen has been in the financial services industry since 1980 and has served customers all across the western United States. Gary has hosted and appeared as a guest speaker on several radio shows, and has been featured in various newspaper and magazine articles over the years. He is dedicated to continually furthering his expertise by regularly attending training sessions around the country with some of the nation’s top financial experts and Social Security advisors. Gary is an NSSA Certified Social Security Advisor. When not working, Gary enjoys spending time with his family – his wife of over 40 years, and his 7 children and 16 grandchildren (and counting). He is an avid racquetball player but also enjoys cycling, golfing, and Taekwondo. Gary also spends many hours each week in charitable activities – volunteering for his church, spending time in the local schools educating young people about financial literacy, and (probably his favorite) driving John Deere tractors on a welfare farm in Greeley. Gary’s personal motto is two-fold: 1) Always tell the truth, even when it hurts, and 2) Always do what is in his client’s best interest.

With an unwavering drive to do more for his clients, Josh founded his financial planning practice to guide retirees in developing sustainable financial plans to help them live their ideal lifestyles throughout their golden years. Early on, Josh had a passion for three things: baseball, numbers and helping people. He soon realized one of those passions was not going to be a career option and joined a financial firm in 2003. There, he gained valuable experience, but he also realized areas where he could better help his clients as an independent financial advisor. Now an Investment Adviser Representative, Josh honors his fiduciary responsibility by putting his clients’ needs and goals first. He takes his select families through a process that helps them understand what their new, well-devised plan can accomplish and how it could ultimately benefit them. In turn, this helps reduce any doubt or confusion they may have. Josh specializes in creating and tailoring innovative financial plans designed with the retiree in mind. He has passed the Series 65 securities exam and holds life insurance licenses in Colorado. As a retirement income planning, investment planning and legacy planning professional, Josh has been featured in prominent news outlets, including Fortune Magazine. He also contributed a chapter to the book “Victory!” Josh lives in Windsor, Colorado, with his wife and three sons. He is an avid softball and racquetball player as well as a CrossFit and wakeboarding enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and is very active in his church and community.

Jaris Hansen has been helping retirees and pre-retirees in Northern Colorado navigate the important financial decisions that come with retirement since 2001. As a Founder of Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies, he has helped build a firm centered on comprehensive retirement planning, personal relationships, and helping clients bring their vision for retirement to life.
He believes retirement planning shouldn’t feel overwhelming. He focuses on making complex retirement topics easier to understand, helping folks move forward with clarity and confidence.
For Jaris, a thoughtful retirement plan is more than managing finances. It’s about the peace of mind that comes from understanding how all the pieces work together, so retirees can spend less time worrying about money and more time enjoying the retirement they’ve worked hard for.
Outside the office, Jaris and his wife live in Greeley, Colorado, with their five children and an ever-growing assortment of farm animals. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano, serving in his church, and volunteering with Junior Achievement, where he has taught financial literacy to local students for more than a decade.

Tracey Scheer is a Colorado native and the Director of Operations at the Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies. With more than 20 years experience in marketing, operations, real estate, and business development, she supports both the RPC team and the clients they serve with a thoughtful, solutions-driven approach.
Tracey spent over a decade within the REMAX network, including nearly six years with REMAX Alliance in a leadership role supporting more than 375 agents across six Northern Colorado offices. She led onboarding, guided agents through tools and technology, and supported branding, marketing, and digital presence. Known for her steady leadership and dedication, she built long-lasting relationships with the professionals she supported.
Outside of work, Tracey enjoys time with her husband and two sons, making time for family and friends, being outdoors on her bike or paddle board, and photography.

Lorraine was born and raised in Loveland Colorado. Where she worked in Marketing Communications for a Technology CO. After 27 years she moved into a management role in Real Estate as a Licensed Office Manager and Property Manager. She joined Retirement Center of the Rockies in September 2024.
She loves spending time with her adult daughter and two granddaughters. She enjoys baking, family adventures and has a creative eye for all things antique.


Charles joined the Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies team in late 2023 after several years with U.S. Bank. Originally from Chicago, he moved to Colorado in 2017 to attend college and has proudly called it home ever since.
At RPC, Charles is dedicated to helping clients navigate the retirement planning process with clarity and confidence. He takes pride in building trust and providing peace of mind through personalized, thoughtful guidance every step of the way.
Outside the office, Charles enjoys an active, adventurous lifestyle—whether he’s walking his husky, sailing, fly fishing, hiking, or backpacking through Colorado’s stunning backcountry.

A Northern Colorado native, Brian is passionate about helping people plan for a secure and fulfilling future. Before joining Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies as a Service Advisor, he worked as a credit analyst—an experience that sharpened his skills in financial analysis and risk management.
At RPC, Brian is committed to making the retirement planning process clear, straightforward, and personalized. He enjoys building strong relationships with clients, helping them feel confident at every step, and tailoring strategies to meet their unique goals.
Outside of the office, Brian enjoys mountain biking along the Front Range and staying active on the basketball court. A former college basketball player, he still loves the game and keeps up his skills in the gym.

Brandon is a dedicated Advisor at Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies. He originally worked with the firm in the early 2000s before moving with his wife and kids to Utah in 2008, where he built a successful career in real estate. In 2025, he returned to Colorado and rejoined the team, bringing with him years of experience and a renewed passion for helping clients navigate retirement with clarity and confidence.
Brandon values personal connection and enjoys meeting face-to-face with clients, building genuine friendships, and supporting them through one of life’s most important transitions.
Outside the office, Brandon enjoys playing basketball, lifting weights, and previously trained in boxing with his two youngest kids. Since moving back, he’s still on the lookout for a great boxing gym in Northern Colorado—so if you have any recommendations, he’d love to hear them!

Jeb joined the Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies team in late 2024 and plays a vital role in welcoming new clients and guiding them through the onboarding process.
Originally from Carrollton, Georgia, Jeb brings a warm, service-oriented approach to every interaction and is always eager to help meet your needs with care and attention to detail.
Outside of the office, Jeb enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. He also stays active by working on home projects, playing sports, hiking, camping, and hunting—making the most of Colorado’s great outdoors.

Kaylie joined the Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies team in March 2025. In her role, she supports both clients and the office by assisting with withdrawals, deposits, address and beneficiary updates, and data entry. Known for her attention to detail and thoughtful care, Kaylie takes pride in helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Music is one of Kaylie’s greatest passions—she loves writing, creating, and playing, and can perform on more than 15 instruments. From 2019 to 2020, she served a proselyting mission for her church in California during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though the experience brought unique challenges, it remains one of the most meaningful chapters of her life.
The oldest of four siblings and the eldest grandchild on both sides of her family, Kaylie has naturally stepped into the role of “family manager” and considers her family her closest friends. She draws daily inspiration from her grandfather, Gary, whose generosity, boldness, compassion, and faith continue to shape how she lives and serves others.

Elena has been a valued member of the Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies team since 2017. Over the years, she’s worn many hats—from front desk and marketing roles to her current position on the Client Solutions team, where she provides direct and personalized support to clients.
Originally from Bulgaria, Elena moved to the United States in 2006 and continues to stay closely connected with her roots, visiting family in Bulgaria regularly.
Elena lives in Loveland with her husband and their 6-year-old son. As a family, they love spending time outdoors—whether it’s playing at the park, swimming, or exploring new places together.


Shannon joined the Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies in May 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing and technology. She enjoys finding creative solutions to problems and is excited to apply her talents to support the firm’s belief that retirement is where the adventure begins, not ends.
Originally from Colorado Springs, Shannon loves everything Colorado has to offer. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and taking advantage of the Colorado lifestyle through hiking, fishing, and gardening. She and her husband also share a love of cooking, baking, and creating memorable meals together.

Scott Rinehart is a financial planning leader dedicated to helping advisors elevate their expertise and deliver more sophisticated, tax-efficient retirement planning solutions. As President and Chief Wealth Officer at Triad Wealth Partners, he leads the firm’s financial planning initiatives, ensuring advisors have the tools, frameworks, and strategies needed to help drive better client outcomes. His expertise spans income planning, investment strategy, tax optimization, healthcare considerations, and legacy planning—core components of a unified financial planning experience.
Scott’s career began in corporate finance, where he developed a strong foundation in financial strategy, forecasting, and investment oversight. After earning a degree in Accounting and Finance from Washburn University, he started in SEC Reporting before transitioning to Corporate Finance at Westar Energy (now Evergy), a publicly traded utility. There, he supported the Investment Committee, worked with the executive team on debt and equity issuances, and delivered monthly financial forecasts to senior leadership. His early experience in managing large-scale financial data and complex budgeting prepared him for a future in personal financial planning.
When Westar Energy underwent a merger, Scott took the opportunity to transition into personal finance—a shift that aligned with his passion for working directly with individuals and families. He became a financial advisor at Carlson Financial, a rapidly growing RIA, where he played a key role in the firm’s expansion from $70 million to over $300 million in assets under management across five offices.
During his six years at Carlson, Scott led the firm’s Advisor team of eight-plus financial advisors, developed more robust financial planning processes, and personally managed a client base of over 200 households with $135 million in assets under advisement. He also set firmwide planning and servicing strategies that supported over 1,000 client households, ensuring a high-touch, comprehensive approach to wealth management.
At the end of 2022, Scott pursued his entrepreneurial ambitions, founding Verifi Financial, an advice-only financial planning firm focused on serving DIY investors with tax-efficient retirement strategies. His work reinforced his expertise in tax optimization, strategic withdrawal planning, and holistic retirement decision-making.
Scott joined Triad Wealth Partners in 2023, where he continues to champion tax-efficient retirement planning while mentoring and educating advisors. His ability to simplify complex financial concepts into actionable strategies makes him a sought-after resource.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Scott is passionate about knowledge-sharing and frequently leads educational initiatives to help advisors integrate tax-efficient strategies into their practices.
Scott and his wife live in Topeka, Kansas, where they stay busy with their two young children. When he’s not working with advisors or spending time with his family, you can find him enjoying time on the golf course.

Mitchell (Mitch) Hockenbury is a distinguished financial authority, industry thought leader, and decorated military veteran. As Vice President of Practice Management at Triad Wealth Partners, Mitch plays a pivotal role in advising and equipping financial advisors with the strategies, tools, and insights needed to elevate their practices and maximize client success. His leadership focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing client outcomes, and driving sustainable business growth across the industry.
Mitch’s financial career began in 1999, giving him over two decades of experience in wealth management, financial planning, and investment strategy. He has worked as an investment advisor for Ameritrade and Edward Jones, consistently exceeding client expectations and business growth benchmarks. In 2018, he founded 1440 Financial Partners, a firm dedicated to helping families and small businesses achieve financial independence. His expertise spans tax-efficient investing, retirement income strategies, risk management, and Social Security optimization.
A committed lifelong learner, Mitch holds an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Banking from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), and Registered Social Security Analyst® (RSSA®) designations. His thought leadership in financial planning has been featured in MarketWatch, USA Today, CNBC, Forbes, and Barron’s.
Before transitioning to finance, Mitch served with distinction in the Marine Corps and later as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, completing multiple combat tours, including leading the final fighting force out of Iraq in 2011. His military career, marked by numerous commendations, ingrained in him a disciplined, mission-focused approach that he applies to financial planning and leadership.
Mitch is also an award-winning author and international speaker, known for his books Tactical Influence: How I Countered an Insurgency with Words and If I Had Only Known About Money Then: Wisdom That Would Have Saved $1,000,000. He has delivered keynote speeches and financial education sessions to organizations, universities, and professional conferences across the U.S. and internationally.
He resides in Omaha with his wife, daughter, and two pets. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, and continually seeking new ways to empower others in their financial and personal lives.

David Seufer is the Vice President of Planning, supporting advisors in crafting tailored financial plans and strategies that address their clients’ unique needs. His expertise spans retirement income planning, tax-efficient strategies, and investment management.
Before joining Triad Wealth Partners, David founded Gravitas Wealth Planning, where he prioritized delivering clarity and peace of mind to clients navigating the complexities of retirement. In his previous roles, David focused on building and scaling financial planning services and delivering an outstanding client experience.
As both a CFA charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, David combines deep investment expertise with comprehensive financial planning knowledge to deliver exceptional value to clients and advisors alike. When he’s not creating strategies for financial success, David enjoys family time with his wife, toddler, and two dogs. He also enjoys strategy board games, collecting fountain pens, golfing, and everything Formula 1.

Jackson Sheputis is a Senior Financial Planning Specialist with Triad Wealth Partners. He specializes in developing personalized financial planning strategies and reports to assist financial advisors in communicating their recommendations with their clients. Jackson believes every client deserves a clear, honest, and detailed review of their financial picture and goals, and he creates plans with this idea in mind from start to finish.
Before joining Triad, Jackson had four years of experience in financial planning within the RIA industry. Prior to that, he received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Valparaiso University. He completed his Series 65 designation in 2021 and received his CFP® certification in 2023.
Jackson lives in Northwest Indiana with his girlfriend Kyra and their two dogs, Rae and Martin. He enjoys golfing, watching sports, and exploring things to do in the Chicago area.

As Chief Investment Officer, Brent Coggins leads the overall investment strategy for Triad Wealth Partners, a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA). His approach to holistic investment management leadership and expertise is evident in the strategies built around asset allocation, portfolio construction, security selection, investment research, and trading.
Brent has worked in financial services for his entire career, most recently for a trust and investment management company based in Kansas City. There, he served on the investment leadership team, was the co-chair of the model portfolio committee, and oversaw the fund research team that covered all third-party managed investment products. This platform included traditional assets such as equity and fixed-income strategies, as well as alternatives including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and venture capital.
Brent received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas and his MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Brent and his wife live in the Kansas City area with their two daughters. In their free time, they love spending as much time together outdoors as possible.
