As you may be aware, Retirement Planning Center is passionate about education and giving back to our community. One of the causes we care deeply about is Junior Achievement (JA), which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to motivating kids for future career success, self-sufficiency, and financial acumen. Every year, JA sends thousands of volunteers - ourselves included - into local K-12 classrooms to teach students the values of hard work, entrepreneurship, and personal responsibility.
Each fall, JA Rocky Mountain puts on an amazing educational event for high school students called the JA Stock Market Challenge. With multiple giant screens, frenzied traders, and 60 days of simulated trading condensed into 60 minutes, this is a wildly fun competition and opportunity for students to learn about the ins and outs of being a stock trader.
This year, we are sponsoring a table at the corporate Stock Market Challenge event and would like to extend an invitation to you, our valued friends and clients, to participate in helping us raise money for this worthy cause. Our goal is to raise $2,500 but we're hoping your generosity will help us smash through that goal. Would you please consider helping us bring this valuable educational experience to our Northern Colorado high schoolers?
Any donations are welcome and very much appreciated.
BONUS: For those of you who are really serious about helping, we're throwing in an extra incentive. The first four individuals who donate $250 or more will secure themselves a spot at the table during the corporate event the evening of October 27th. Come participate side-by-side with Retirement Planning Center as we trade our way to victory against the other local businesses!
